Received the book on time, new with the online passcode. Amazon did a great job. As far as a textbook, hmmm. I relied on other resources and eventually discovered Laerd.com, The best decision ever in spending $5 to help understand what the authors could not always explain.
The book came to me looking like it was in great condition, but upon opening and reading it I realized that there is a 150 page section completely missing. It is so strange because the binding looks perfect, but my page 78 is followed by page 223. I am guessing it was a printing issue, but I wish that the previous owner would have made someone aware of this mishap. Now I will not be able to read the required readings for my graduate level course.
Very difficult to read. This book was assigned as the text for my univariate stat class. I had to find another book just to be able to understand what this one was saying. Doesn’t feel like a beginner’s text at all.
I received a misprinted text... chapters 4,5, 6 are not in the text. Essentially, pages 78-126 are missing. Please send a replacement...Many of our class have received the textbook with the same issue.
